INTERNSHIP EXPERIENCE at PT INDOCEMENT TUNGGAL PRAKARSA Tbk. UNIT CITEUREUP

Citeureup, Bogor - Hello, my name is Bangun Saputra. I studied at Electrical Engineering Faculty of Diponegoro University, Semarang, Indonesia. I have an internship experience that I want to share with you. Yesterday, I have done my internship at PT INDOCEMENT TUNGGAL PRAKARSA Tbk. Unit Citeureup. I still can't believe that one month of my internship has passed. It was amazing!

My internship was started in early April. It should be 3rd of April, but I come at 7th of April because I have to do my middle exam first. In the first day, before I go to the plant, I must meet Corporate People Development officer. When I arrived at the gate of the factory, I show my invitation letter to the security and then he leads me to the Corporate Development Office. In the office, the officer (Mr. Dedi) gave me safety kit include helmet, vest, and boots. He describes me about the factory and what should I do in my internship. After that, Mr. Dedi drove me to the plant 14. I must be doing my internship in the plant 14 for one month.

In the plant 14, I work at central control room with my 2nd mentor Mr. Danang. My 1st mentor in this plant is Mr. Angga Maysendra. He works in the other building. In this plant, I have studied about cement production process, how to monitoring cement production process, and how to control cement production process. Mr. Angga gave me a task to understand about Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) Omron CP1L-EL that controlling a camera in the kiln. Four weeks later, I describe PLC Omron CP1L-EL and how it works to my mentor and officer of the plant. It is the end of my internship experience in the plant 14 PT INDOCEMENT TUNGGAL PRAKARSA Tbk. UNIT CITEUREUP. After my internship has done, I finish my report and then going back to my domicile.
